Friday 8th July -  Group arrived at Gatwick Airport.  Journey back was slow but youngsters were very patient!
Saturday 9th - Welcome party at Paul & Ali's.  All youngsters outfitted with clothes and footwear that had been collected.  Thank you to everyone who donated and to those who sorted it all out!  Thanks too to Route One for donating rucksacks again.
Sunday 10th - With families
Monday 11th -  At Barn Road for safety talk, postcard writing and diaries.  After lunch swim at Broadstone Junction and use of Kidz Kingdom.  Thank you Broadstone Junction once again!
Tuesday 12th - Wimborne Model Village (Thanks, Greg!) and a great story telling by host "dad" Tony Horitz.  Visit to dentists at South Coast, swim in their pool followed by a BBQ for everyone.  Thanks to Graham, Philip and their staff for doing all that again.
Wednesday 13th - Brownsea Island.  Just two showers this year and thanks to Tim's lightweight groundsheet we stayed dry.  Thanks to Malcolm and Dave at Yellow Boats and to the N.T. for the day.
Thursday 14th - Eye tests in the morning.  Thanks to Scrivens in Broadstone again for helping us with that and for the 7 pairs of prescription glasses that they have supplied.    In the afternoon Swim at Poole Dolphin.  Thanks go to them!
Friday 15th - Ferndown Upper School.  All youngsters made bread rolls then cooked their own lunch - Pasta and tomato bolognaise. Well done Tim again!   Crazy golf at Sandbanks in the afternoon thanks to Tony Unwin.
Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th - With families
Monday 18th - Andy and his Double Bass entertained us all.  Another great morning (Thanks Andy!)  Sandbands Beach pm thanks to the good weather!
Tuesday 19th - Visited the Mayor of Poole, Xena Dion in the Council Chamber.  Great morning there and the kids enjoyed a sausage and chips lunch!  Thanks to PBC again and to Tesco for the goodie bags!  !  Another swim at Littledown in the afternoon.  Kids were excited with that and thanks to Littledown for organising it!
Wednesday 20th - A day at the Lush factory.  They are sooo helpful to us and are just down the road!  Kids made soap and worked on a production line.  The buffet lunch was ... lovely!
Thursday 21st - Lulworth and Kimmeridge.  Thanks to Andy and Jurassic Jaunts for leading us again.  It was a great day.  Thanks too to Lulworth Estate for the parking!
Friday 22nd - Morning at R.N.L.I. was exciting and Michael Tomlinson M.P. spent some time with us after expressing a wish to meet the kids when he took up the cost of Visas issue for me!
Saturday 23rd - Whole day as guests of North Haven Yacht Club.  Regatta and BBQ.  What a great day that was;  boat rides, canoeing, board racing, crabbing and, of course, the Greasy Pole.  Thanks to Barry the Commodore, Paul the President and their team for a memorable day there again this year!
Sunday 24th - With families
Monday 25th - Monkey World with grateful thanks to Jan and Gaye Weddup for once again providing the day.  It was overcast which is the best weather condition for the monkeys because they run around a lot more.  The youngsters enjoyed it all and after lunch imitated the  inmates on the play apparatus!
Tuesday 26th - Spent the day at Adventure Wonderland.  That caused a lot of excitement.  None of them had visited anything like it before!
Wednesday 27th - Another great day!  Steam train from Norden to Corfe Castle where we spent a couple of hours in the capable hands of our guide and learned about some of the history then on to Swanage on the steam train for sausage and chips and a walk on the pier.  There wasn't enough time to swim this year but the beach looked very inviting!
Thursday 28th - Alum Chine - led by John B.  - Always brilliant!!  We started in the playground there then played a game on the beach, swam in the sea and flew the kites.  Chez Fred of Westbourne generously  provided sausage or fish and chips and drinks for everyone.  After that we took the land train (Thanks to Lynne) to Boscombe, walked on the pier where there are out musical instruments to amuse the kids then climbed the 'rocks'.  Land train back again.  John B got them all going with waving and cheering every time we passed someone.  Cause a lot of smiley faces!!
Friday 29th - Weymouth Sealife Centre.  Always a hit so the kids had a super time looking at the creatures, going on the rides and finishing with some time in the splash pool!
Monday 1st August - Moors Valley for the morning (rain forecast later!).  We followed the Tree Top Walk so the kids climbed all the apparatus on the way.  We finished with the usual  balancing competition.  Dima M managed to walk backwards balancing on a long line of narrow logs.  Afternoon was concert practice.
Tuesday 2nd - Cobham Aviation.  Thanks to Alex and friends for another great morning looking at the factory unit and sitting in the cockpit of a plane on the tarmac.  All very exciting! Afternoon on Sandbanks beach.
Wednesday 3rd - Made thank you cards in the morning at Henbury View School then girls visited Monroe Hairdressers  (Thanks' so much Monroes!) while the boys had a last swim at Sandbanks beach again.  Evening was Leaving Party at Henbury View.  The kids gave a lovely concert followed by buffet supper and a disco (Thanks to Dave Bessant again!).
Thursday 4th - ockley Sailing in the morning at Poole Park.  Kids were so excited canoeing then board paddling.  With families in the afternoon.
Friday 5th - Early start back to Gatwick.  All are safely back with their parents now!

We would like to thank all the organisations, businesses, and attractions who helped us by providing super days out for the group.  Also, South Coast Dentists and Scrivens of Broadstone Opticians (and Bournemouth Eye Hospital for diagnosing Dima's problem of calcium on the optic nerve which is benign and nothing to worry about)
